It’s possible that the biggest misconception of chiropractors is that they lack specialized education and training. Take Dr. Gordon Fimreite who has offices in LaGrange and Chicago for example is nationally certified in his profession. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA, which is about 4,500 hours – the same as medical doctors. Fimreite lives his life by his profession. As a practicing chiropractor for over 15 years he doesn’t just focus on the impending physical needs of his patients – he treats their human spirit. Along with treating patients in his office(s), he devotes time to speaking engagements and holds regular workshops, where his focus is on the “well balanced life”, which includes the benefits of exercise, nutrition and sleep wellness through chiropractic care. For more information about his programs, please visit http://www.drfimreite.com or email him at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Fimreite is a very active man, who enjoys reading, Health and Wellness research, triathlons, weight training, volleyball, drawing, photography, skiing, rollerblading and traveling. His own personal experience of receiving chiropractic care after suffering multiple injuries from an automobile that struck him while he was bicycling allowed him to return to his daily regimen quickly. He knew then he had to “pay it forward” and help others. He cares for patients of all ages from newborns to the elderly, from the physically challenged to the athletic and from the businessman to the housewife. Fimreite is an active member of the Brookfield Chamber of Commerce, West Suburban Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Western Springs Business Association.
