On Monday, February 6, the City of Berwyn officially welcomed The Vitamin Shoppe as the second retailer to open in the new Berwyn Gateway Plaza at the northeast corner of Cermak Road and Harlem Avenue.

Established more than 30 years ago, The Vitamin Shoppe is a leading specialty retailer and direct marketer of nutritional products. In their shoppes you can find vitamins, minerals, nutritional supplements, herbs, sports nutrition formulas, homeopathic remedies, green living products, and health and beauty aids.   

Berwyn Development Corporation President, Jon Fey commented on what an asset to the community’s overall health the shoppe will be.

In the coming months four additional businesses will be joining The Vitamin Shoppe in the Gateway Plaza, they will include:  Chipotle Mexican Grill, Verizon Wireless, Play N Trade and an additional national tenant to be named at a later date.
