The North Riverside Police Department report that on Tuesday evening, February 21, they responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of 23rd and 6th Avenue where a 13-year old boy, walking his dog, was approached by a driver in a pickup truck, who tried to engage him in conversation. |

As of Friday, February 3, another leg of the Des Plaines River Project has been completed with the removal of the Fairbanks Dam. In the coming weeks the US Army Corps of Engineers will begin work on additional improvements, enhancing the usability of Swan Pond Park. |
